The laying table for sheets, such as at a sheet-fed printing press, has a deflection roller at the kink in the sheet path from the horizontal feed to the angled laying table. The deflection roller is moved at right angles to the plane of the laying table, to be pressed against the laying table plane with a variable force. The deflection roller is at the free end of a piston rod (12) moving at right angles to the plane of the laying table, with a variable pressure from the pneumatic piston pressure cylinder (13). The deflection roller is a pair of rollers (8) with separate rollers (9,10) in line in the direction (2) of material travel. |
