PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic focusing even in a dark place in an electronic still camera using an image processing type autofocus device. SOLUTION: In a still image photographing time in a dark place, an infrared ray cutting filter 17 in an optical path is moved to the outside of the optical path. Infrared rays are irradiated from an infrared ray light 31 to an object 3. In this way, infrared rays reflected from the object 3 are focused on a photoelectric conversion element 21, and then, an image processing type autofocus operation is carried out. |
