PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive type or negative type photosensitive compsn. having high sensitivity to IR and satisfactory developability, chemical, resistance and raw stock preservability by incorporating specified compds., an IR absorber and a specified high molecular polymer. SOLUTION: The photosensitive compsn. contains a compd. capable of generating an acid when irradiated with active light, a compd. having an acid- decomposable bonding part, an IR absorber and a high molecular polymer having a solubility parameter of >=13 and contg. unsatd. group-contg. polymerizable monomer units. The pref. amt. of the acid-decomposable compd. is 5-70 wt.%, in particular 10-50 wt.% of the total solid content of the compsn. which forms a photosensitive layer when used as an image forming material. An IR absorbing dye having absorption at >=700 nm wavelength, carbon black or magnetic powder may be used as the IR absorber. |
