<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide same diameter hot line service tee which is capable of performing the same diameter hot line branching by a punching work and is sufficient in fusion strength by increasing welding area. SOLUTION: In electric fusion service tee which has an inside surface conformed to a pipe P to be connected and has a saddle part 3 burying a heating member 8 in this inside surface, a drum part 2 provided with a punching tool 11 for forming a punch hole 23 in the pipe P to be connected and a spigot part 4 to take out a branch pipe by branching from the drum part 2, a bore (a)/cross-sectional area A of the pipe P to be connected, a bore (a)/cross- sectional area A of the punch hole 23 opened in this pipe P and a bore (a)/cross- sectional area A of the spigot part 4 are made substantially the same.</p> |
