PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable various kinds of processing to a card unit and to attain multifunctioning by enciphering numerical information read from the storage part of the unit through a communication part and displaying it later when a control part accepts the display instruction of numerical information such as an amount from a manipulation part. SOLUTION: Data held in a storage part 2A of a card unit 2 are supplied through a communication part 3 to a card unit processor 1. An operation part 4 of the card unit processor 1 applies an instruction to a control part 5 for operating various functions to the data read from the storage part 2A of the card unit 2 through the communication part 3. When the display instruction of numerical information such as the amount is accepted from the operation part 4, that control part 5 enciphers the numerical information read from the storage part 2A of the card unit 2 through the communication part 3 and displays it on a display part 6 later. |
