METHOD FOR PROCESSING ELECTRODE FOR ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing an electrode for an electric double layer capacitor at a low cost wherein the capacity of a PVDC resin carbide electrode is improved. SOLUTION: A PVDC(polyvinylidene chloride) resin carbide is sintered at 600-900 deg.C, an obtained electrode is submerged in a sulfuric acid or ion exchange water or placed in water-vapor to be pregnant is water content, then heated at 150-300 deg.C, thus an electric double layer capacitor electrode 2 is processed. The heating process is preferred to be performed in an oxidizing atmosphere or a neutral atmosphere.
