PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically receive a message when an equipment having portable telephone function is informed of the registration of the message by the automatic answering telephone service. SOLUTION: The telephone number of a host station conducting the automatic answering telephone service is registered in advance in the equipment having the portable telephone function and as the result of registering a message addressed to the equipment in the host station for a period when the communication of the device is disable, when the communication of the device is available and the message registration notice sent from the host station to the device is received, the equipment itself is designated as a message reception destination and the automatic reception mode is set (steps S1, S2), then dialing is made automatically by a telephone number registered to the host station (steps S5, S6), and then the message addressed to the equipment registered in the host station sent from the host station to the equipment is automatically received (step S7). |
