PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously start the air-conditioning operation and the operation of an electric dust collector by providing a single operation button to simultaneously start the air-conditioning operation such as the cooling/heating, and the operation of the electric dust collector. SOLUTION: An air cleaner 10 is built in an indoor unit 1. The air cleaner 10 comprises an electric dust collector 11 and a deodorant filter 12 juxtaposed on the side thereof. The electric dust collector 11 and the deodorant filter 12 are independently and juxtaposed on a forward upper part of an indoor side heat exchanger 3. The electric dust collector 11 is connected to a high voltage generation circuit 13. The indoor unit 1 achieves the deodorization using the deodorant filter 12 by driving the air cleaner 10, and fine floating dust particles in the air are charged by an electrode of the electric dust collector 11, and collected. The air cleaning function is also demonstrated. A remote controller 19 provided with a single button to simultaneously start the air-conditioning operation and the electric dust collector 11, is provided. |
