<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which a transfer material is prevented from being caught by the leading end of the protruding part of a spur, and the transfer material is stably carried on the spur without the occurrence of the image rubbing on the back surface of the transfer material caused by jamming, the bending of the leading end of the transfer material, and carrying defect even though there is the difference of the kind of the transfer material and an environmental condition. SOLUTION: A carrying part having a rotatable spur 262 member on which plural protruding parts 262a carrying the transfer material are provided is provided between a second image carrying means and a fixing means, and the transfer material is carried to the fixing means through the carrying part. As to the spur member; when a distance between the leading ends of the two adjacent protruding parts is defined as (a), and a distance between a straight line passing through the leading ends of the two adjacent protruding parts and a point nearest to a rotating center between the two adjacent protruding parts is defined as (b), 0.3<=b/a<=0.7 is satisfied.</p> |
