<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a paper sheet from winding around a photoreceptor to cause jamming when a cut paper is used for fast printing, by controlling the toner in such a manner that the logarithm of the volume resistance measured at a specified frequency is a specified value or higher. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner is produced by mixing a binder resin, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent, then pulverizing, classifying and adding an external additive to the powder. The logarithm LogR of the volume resistance R measured at 1 kHz frequency is >=11.45. The logarithm LogR of the volume resistance measured at 1 kHz frequency is controlled to >=11.45, preferably >=11.47. If LogR is <11.45, it is not preferable because a paper sheet is wound on the photoreceptor to increase the possibility of a trouble of jamming (paper clogging). As for the binder resin, for example, a polyester resin, styrene-acrylic resin and polyurethane resin can be used.</p> |
