PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the provision and acquisition of area information in mobile communication with a simple configuration with respect to a mobile communication system and a mobile terminal to obtain area information specific to an area where the mobile terminal is placed. SOLUTION: URLs of each home page describing area information are collected by a URL list service server 5 and an area representative URL is set as an address of a home page of the list. A URL read means 2b receives a zone identification signal sent from a radio base station equipment 1a and reads the area representative URL corresponding to the received zone identification signal from a storage means 2a. A representative URL transmission means 2c sends the area representative URL read by the URL read means 2b to the URL list service server 5 to access a corresponding list home page. A list transmission means 5a provided to the URL list service server 5 extracts area URL list information corresponding to the area representative URL sent from the representative URL transmission means 2 and sends the information to the mobile terminal 2. A display means 2d of the mobile terminal 2 displays the area URL list information sent from a list transmission means 5a.
