PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock structure for a connector whereby it is easy to unlock only by inserting a flat plate jig. SOLUTION: A lock projection 5 is furnished on the side face of the housing 3 of either of a male connector 1 and a female connector 2, and a retaining pawl 16 is furnished at the forefront of a lock arm of cantilever structure capable of elastic deformation furnished as mating with the projection 5 at the top 6a of the other connector housing 6, and the pawl 16 is arranged as engaged with the lock projection 5 with possibility of disengagement. In this connector lock structure, a tapered projection part 17 inclining gradually inward from the base end of the lock arm 13 toward its forefront is provided in a part beside the lock arm 13, and the forefront of the lock arm 13 is elastically deformed outward through the projection part 17 by a flat jig 30 which is inserted between the top 6a of the connector housing 6 and the projection part 17 from the base end of the lock arm 13, and thereby the pawl 16 is separated from the lock projection 5 to generate unlocking.
