PARTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain accurate order-acceptance/ordering management by managing the whole state by the combination of icon display and the number of data and displaying the detailed information of a selected item by a table format. SOLUTION: Order-acceptance/ordering results corresponding to respective management items are stored in server-side databases 360 to 400 based on client side progress inputs. These processing areas are connected to a human working area through respective clients 310a to 310d and outputs from the processing areas are displayed on the clients 310a to 310d. Management items are displayed by the combination of icon display for discriminating order acceptance or ordering and the number of data showing an order-acceptance/ordering result. For instance, a display from the server processing area 320 is displayed to a worker in charge of the machining shop 301a. A processing result from the processing area 320 is stored in the database 360. A data attribute common to respective shops can be identified by the existence of a flag or the like and stored in the server-side database 400.
