摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical computer capable of quickly and highly accurate ly executing inner product operation also for an input vector and an information processor utilizing the computer. SOLUTION: The inner product arithmetic unit is constituted of an input vector transformation means 36 for applying transformation corresponding to an input vector to the input vector and outputting the transformed vector, a matrix transformation means 33 for outputting a matrix based on the vector outputted from the means 36 and an optical vector matrix operation means 37 for executing inner product operation to be a product of the vector outputted from the means 36 and the matrix outputted from the means 33. Inner product operation is executed after executing transformationα(x-βI) (provided that I=<t> (1, 1,..., 1) to be executed by multiplying a value obtained by subtracting a scalar numberβfrom all components of data x inputted from the means 36 by a scalar numberα.
