发明名称 OPTICAL WAVELENGTH CONVERSION DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately lock in an oscillated wavelength of a semiconductor laser with a wavelength matching in phase with a period of a domain inversion part by using a narrow band-pass filter with respect to a device which converts wavelength of a laser beam emitted from a semiconductor laser by an optical waveguide type wavelength conversion element with a periodic domain inversion structure, and moreover, to miniaturize the device. SOLUTION: A laser beam 11R emitted opposite to a laser beam 11 emitted from a semiconductor laser 10 and made incident on an optical wavelength conversion element 15 is reflected by a reflection type narrow BPF(band-pass filter) 30 and fed back to the semiconductor laser 10. This narrow band BPF 30 is placed so that a reflecting plane is positioned at a distance of <=1.6μm from the rear end face 10a of the semiconductor laser. And, a means for changing the temperature of the reflection type narrow band BPF 30, such as a Peltier element 35, etc., is provided.
