PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display element having a good visual angle characteristic by using a screen which lessens the blur of a display, lessens the loss of rays, is designable with good controllability of a diffusion angle and has the less influence on the polarization stage of rays and a production for producing the liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The rear surface of a counter substrate 9 is provided with an optical element 24 functioning as a diffusion plate which is formed by laminating layers arrayed with refractive spherical bodies 1 to three layers in a plane form into a transparent medium 2. Further, the rear surface thereof is provided with color filters 10 and counter electrodes 11. The front surface of an array substrate 14 is provided with TFTs 13 and pixel electrodes 23. A liquid crystal layer 2 is formed between the counter substrate 9 and the array substrate 14. |
