PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP switch that prevents aborted cells received for an interruption time of connection attending on delete and establishment of connection in a switch section on the way of switching from a connection for a selected flow into a cut-through connection. SOLUTION: In the IP switch 1, input buffers 122-125 that apply on/off control to flowing of cells to a switch core 121 are provided in a switch section 12 as a means stopping and storing flowed cells to the connection in the switch section 12 in the case of switching the connection (selected flow use connection) via a controller section 11 into the cut-through connection. Cells are once stored in the input buffers 122-125 for an interruption time of connection attending on deletion and establishment in the switch section 12 on the way of switching of the connection. |
