PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily register new information even during traveling by recognizing the position of a mobile body, and by outputting, with voice, one or more of information on a traffic sign, a building, and traffic. SOLUTION: A traveling state detection part 2 detects a current position, a traveling direction, a traveling speed, or the like, feeds them to a control part 3, reads peripheral map data from a CD-ROM 4, and displays them on a display 5. When a voice output mode is set, the control part 3 reads required character information from the CD-ROM 4 or a storage medium, creates a voice text at a voice text creation part 8, synthesizes voice at a voice synthesis part 9, and outputs it from a speaker 10. When the voice output mode or a vice registration mode is set, a microphone 11 is turned on and inputs the voice of a user for sending to a voice recognition part 12, and then the voice is written into the storage medium via a keyword detection part 13, a registration content generation part 14, and a registration content decision part 15, thus outputting information for supporting traveling with voice. |
