PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a sheet from being held in close contact with a fixing number for heating toner and from being unable to be separated, at the time of fixing the toner image on the sheet, and free from missing of required or important information of an original image, while the user is not aware. SOLUTION: In this device the presence or absence of the image density, a character or the like on an original leading section is detected from the original image data inputted by the image information detecting section 43. The original image data are temporarily written in a packet memory 44. When the image density of the original leading section is not less than the specific density, a character or the like is present in the original leading section, and there is the non-image area being not smaller in the size than the character area having the character or the like therein in the original image, the character image in the leading section of the original is shifted to the non-image area, and the image data corresponding to the image in the character moving source area where the character image changes into the blank image are written in a page memory 45 as the print image data. In the print section, based on the print image data on the memory 45, the print image by using the toner is formed on the sheet. |
