The support consists of a cantilever assembly (1) with an open corner having a sliding bar (2) carrying an end clamp (3) with spiked jaws (4) to engage with the faces of the purlin. A spacer bar (5) slides through the lower end of the cantilever and operates by compression against the underside of the purlin. The components are fitted together and adjustable by safety pegs, and the upper end has a plinth support (8).
