PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extract an electronic mail required by a recipient among lots of received electronic mails from an electronic mail server. SOLUTION: A processing discrimination section 24 decides processing of a received electronic mail based on a designation of a recipient described in a database 25 and an idle capacity of a mail box 28, and a processing section 25 rewrites an electronic mail header and an electronic mail text and then stores the electronic mail to a mail box 28. In the case that the priority is placed lowest as a result of rewriting the electronic mail header, the electronic mail is not stored in the mail box but returned to a sender. Furthermore, in the case that the capacity of the mail box 28 is deficient, electronic mails with lower priority stored in the mail box 28 are extracted and the processing section 25 returns them or summarizes them so as to allow the mail box 28 to store newly arrived electronic mails. |
