PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display image high in contrast and visibility by providing a light scattering layer, formed of a resin layer with fine grains dispersed, on a transparent film, and specifying the refractive index ratio of fine grains to the resin layer excluding fine grain parts, and the thickness of the light scattering layer. SOLUTION: A light scattering film is so constituted that a light scattering layer formed of a resin layer with fine grains dispersed is provided on a transparent film, that the refractive index ratio of fine grains to a resin layer excluding fine grain parts is 1.001-1.2 to 1 and that the thickness of the light scattering layer is 3-50 μm. That is, the refractive index of fine grains constituting the light scattering layer is higher than that of the resin layer excluding the fine grain parts, and it is further desirable that the refractive index ratio of the fine grains to the resin layer excluding the fine grain parts is 1.01-1.1 to 1. It is desirable that these fine grains are transparent and excellent in dispersibility to the resin layer and that the refractive index ratio of the fine grains to the resin layer excluding the fine grain parts, constituting the light scattering layer, satisfies the above-mentioned condition. |
