PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit capable of reducing the power consumption of the entire system without instabilizing power supplied to the electric circuit of the system by switching the output power of a regulator corresponding to the magnitude of the load of the system. SOLUTION: When control signals inputted from a CPU 2 to the electric circuit 10 are the ones for making the load of the electric circuit 10 be larger than a prescribed value set beforehand, the regulator 3 is similarly controlled by the CPU 2 as well and supplies stable power to the electric circuit 10 by the large output power. When the control signals inputted from the CPU 2 to the electric circuit 10 are the ones for making the load of the electric circuit 10 be smaller than the predetermined value, the regulator 3 is similarly controlled by the CPU 2 as well and turned to small output power and the power consumption is suppressed to be small. |
