PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express the low density part of an image with high image quality in a stable condition. SOLUTION: In this method and device by which a dotted electrostatic latent image having a fixed size is formed by scanning an exposing device 3 to a photoreceptor 1 with beam set to fixed light quantity capable of sufficiently optically attenuating the potential by electrification of the photoreceptor 1, and the electrostatic latent image is developed and transferred to a paper S, the electrostatic latent image is developed in an image producing condition capable of expressing the image with low density by reducing toner adhering amount. Thus, the low density part of the image can be expressed with the toner sticking amount without reducing the diameter of the dot of the electrostatic latent image. Thus, the stable electrostatic latent image can be formed regardless of the density of the image, and the image can stably be transferred onto the paper S. The low density part of the image can be expressed with the small toner sticking amount, so that image quality small in dispersion can be obtained. |
