PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge an electrode volume capacity, by eliminating a generation of crack or split during sinter and by reducing a diffusion resistance, by adding sinter shrinking substance to carbide made of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), and by forming the electrode for a double electric layer capacitor by the car bide. SOLUTION: An electrode for a double electric layer capacitor is formed by adding sinter shrinking substance to carbide made of PVDC resin and using the carbide. The double electric layer capacitor can be formed by the electrode building in the capacitor. The double electric layer capacitor is formed by the PVDC resin being preferably carbonized at 180 deg.C to 450 deg.C, sinter shrinking substance being added to the generated carbide and being molded, after that the molded body is sintered at 600 deg.C to 950 deg.C, and the double electric layer capacitor is formed by the generated sinter body. Preferable samples of the sinter shrinking substance are carbon fiber, phenol resin carbide, carbon black, coke powder and so on. |
