<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer device operatable by an efficient software. SOLUTION: The value of a timer counter(TC) 102 is counted up every time a count clock is inputted, and when it is detected that the counted value is matched with the set value of a comparison register(CR) 103 in an eguality detection circuit 105, matching signals 106 are outputted. The matching signals 106 are inputted to an external CPU as interruption signals and thus, the CPU activates an interruption routine. By the interruption routine, the set value of the comparison register(CR) 103 is updated and the output signals of an output terminal 109 are inverted every time the value of the timer counter(TC) 102 is stepped for terminal inversion interval time.</p> |
