PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recirculating method for a down-flow heat exchanger, functioning as a reboiler for a condenser operating in a state of better energy efficiency than that in the utilization of a single pump. SOLUTION: In the device and method of a multi-tower system 1, a high- pressure tower 10 and a low-pressure tower 12 are related mutually by a reboiler 18 for a condenser in operation. Liquid in the liquid reservoir of the low-pressure tower 12 is pumped by a pump 40 whereby pressurized product can be produced. The reboiler for the condenser is a down-flow thin film type heat exchanger. In the heat-exchanger, liquid is evaporated in the tower overhead of the high- pressure tower 10 and, further, is boiled in the low-pressure tower 12 whereby the liquid can be circulated through both of the high-pressure tower 10 and the low-pressure tower 12. The liquid is recirculated by an ejector 48 and is returned into the reboiler 18 for the condenser.
