PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a coat in a short time easily and automatically by providing a means of cutting a coat at a position to remove, and a means of removing the cut-off coat. SOLUTION: A cutter 10 is a device for cutting or incising the coat of a flat cable 1, and limit switches LCU, LCD limit the vertical position of a blade 14u, i.e., the mutual space between blades 14u, 14d. And, a restricting device 20 is a device for ristricting the coat of the flat cable 1, has needlelike substance at positions corresponding to partition walls, and the limit switches LNG, LND restrict the rise and fall of the needlelike substances 26 respectively. And the whole of the restricting device 20 is moved in the right and left directions by a moving device 30. Consequently, it becomes possible to remove the coat out of the flat cable in a short time easily and automatically. |
