PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide with simple structure a collision sensor for detecting the severity of shock in a vehicle collision, and to provide with simple structure an air bag operation control device capable of developing and expanding an air bag according to the severity of the shock and low production cost by using this collision sensor. SOLUTION: A collision sensor is constituted with a ball 3, which is moved by a shock in vehicle collision, and at least two contacts S1, S2 which are successively closed by the contact with the ball 3 which is made to move. The more severe the shock in vehicle collision is the larger the moving distance of the ball 3 becomes and therefore, the severity of shock is, detected by the number of the contacts S1, S2 closed by the ball 3. |
