PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system capable of appropriately processing the issuance of a new passing ticket corresponding to the clogging of the passing ticket in an automatic passing ticket issuing device. SOLUTION: This remote monitoring system is provided with a display means 38 for displaying that a calling report from passing ticket issuing devices 21-24 is inputted, a touch panel 39 for instructing the new issuance of the passing ticket in response to the calling report displayed at the display means 38, a vehicle identification circuit 32 for detecting the presence of the vehicle of a lane with the calling report from video images supplied from monitoring cameras 11-14 to a CRT monitor 18 corresponding to the input of the calling report and a controller 31 for permitting the issuance of the new passing ticket at the point of time of confirming the presence of the vehicle on a passage by the identified result of the vehicle identification circuit 32 and making the new passing ticket issued from the passing ticket issuing device of the corresponding lane. Thus, the issuance of two or more passing tickets to a specified vehicle is prevented. |
