PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make adaptable to inputs for various uses by storing cooccurrence informa tion showing the relation between words for a combination of words and performing a specific natural language process for an inputted character string by using selected cooccurrence application conditions, and then using the cooccurrence information under the proper application conditions. SOLUTION: A control part 202 when inputting information for selecting cooccurrence application mode sends information on the selection indication to a selected cooccurrence relation part 104. The cooccurrence relation selection part 104 receives selection indication information on the cooccurrence application mode and the input of a character string, extracts cooccurrence information stored in a cooccurrence information storage part 105, and outputs the cooccurrence information to a KANA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion part 205. Further, the cooccurrence relation selection part 104 calculates an evaluated value for the character string stored in a character string hold part 101 by using the information stored in an attached word information storage part 107. A proper cooccurrence application pattern is selected according to the evaluated value and sent to a KANJI conversion part 205. |
