A flexible gas analyzer arrangement comprises a gas analyzer (14) and a gas coupling system co-operable with the analyzer (14) to provide a gas flow path for directing gas from a patient breathing circuit (2) and through the analyzer (14). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The gas flow path comprises a first flow path (34) for returning gas from the analyzer (14) to the patient breathing circuit (2) and a second flow path (36) for venting gas from the analyzer (14) away from the patient breathing circuit (2). A flow path selector (40, 42) is operable via an output from user input unit (44) to switchably select one or other of the first (34) and the second (36) gas flow paths in response to a user input selection. |
