An electroluminescent fiber (hereinafter referred to as ELF) hose containing ELFs therein, which comprises a tubular transparent or translucent hose member (1) having flexibility and elasticity and one or more electroluminescent fibers (2) buried spirally in the inner surface or the thick part of the hose member (1). The field of its application can be widened while enhancing strength, fittability, waterproofness, quantity of light and decorativeness entirely as compared with a case where the ELF is used alone.
