Dispersing agent with increased biological eliminability and biodegradability and containing aryl sulfonate-formaldehyde condensate or lignin sulfonate and phospholipid, amino acid and/or mono- or di-oligosaccharide is used in dyeing and printing.- DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Dispersing agent comprises: (A) at least one compound from aryl sulfonate-formaldehyde condensate or a lignin sulfonate; and (B) at least one compound from phospholipids, at least one amino acid or a different compound(s) from mono- and di-oligosaccharides.TF - TECHNOLOGY FOCUS - POLYMERS - (A) is from phenyl-, naphthyl- and diphenyl-sulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensates or is a lignin sulfonate, preferably a compound of formula (5): - X = direct bond or O; - A = aromatic group; - M = H or salt-forming cation; and - n, p = 1-4 (claimed).- B is of formula (1), (2), HOOC-CH(NH2)-CH2-S-CH2-CH(NH2)-COOH (3) or formula (II): - R1,R2 = 8-24 C alkyl; - t = 0 or 1; - D = PO4 when t = 1 or O-P(=O)-(O-)2 when t = 0; - E = 2-4 C alkylene; - X = N+H3, +N(CH3)3, hexahydroxycyclohexane, or NH-CO-Y; - Y = carboxylic acid residue; - R3 = H or 1-4 C alkyl optionally substituted by amino, hydroxy, thio, methyl thio, (hydroxy)phenyl indolyl, imidazolyl, guanidino or carboxy; - R4 = H or 1-4 C alkyl; - R5 = -(CH2)m; and - m = 0-3.- R7 = H or OH
