A ski has a base (1) with a binding for a ski boot. The ski board (4) has leading and trailing mountings (5, 6) at the upper side, with links (2, 3) to the base (1), so that the elasticity of the ski is through the interaction between the base (1) with the links. The base is bonded to the ski board (4), and the links have length adjustment to set the tension and curvature heights of the ski board in relation to a flat surface.
