Radioactive random number generator

Radioactive material (1) generates particulate or gamma-quantum radiation (2). Individual detector (4) impulses are converted for further processing. Equipment connected to the detector measures intervals between impulses, allocating a numerical value to them, which is output from the device as a random number.
