The tube-emptier has two parallel struts (2a,2b) spaced apart and at right angles to the two arms (3a,3c) of the clamp (3). At least one of the free ends of the struts is joined to the one arm (3a). The two arms are joined by a section (3b). The two struts are fixed to the clamp arms by screws (6).
