The channel through which the granules passes, includes perforated sections, of which the openings are smaller than the granules. Preferred features: The sections are sheets (6), their perforations circular or slotted. They are slotted and conical, such that the openings enlarge away from the side of product contact. The channel is elongated-rectangular or annular in cross section. Baffles (8) are built into the channel. A static distributor is located in the product inlet (2). Perforation slots are orientated in the direction of product flow.
