The circuit arrangement includes a measurement unit (MWR) which detects impulse voltages caused or atmospheric discharge or electric switching. A memory unit (S) which belongs to a computer (R) is coupled to the measurement unit. First and a second converter units (ADW, DAW) are connected before and next inline to the memory unit, respectively. The first converter unit samples the impulse voltage, and forms digital sample values, and the second converter unit (DAW) reads the sample values from the memory and converts the samples again into analogue voltage values. An amplifier arrangement is preferably coupled to the second converter unit and amplifies the produced analogue voltages.
