The molding tool (10) is movable between a feeder and closure position. The loose material (2) is fed trough a feeder opening (15) which is then closed, and is then compacted in the molding chamber (4). A suction arrangement (40) sucks up air from the molding chamber. The molding tool has at least suction duct (30,34) connecting the molding chamber and the suction arrangement. A pressure ram (18) fits into the molding chamber.
