<p>The invention concerns the use of ellagic acid and its derivatives in cosmetics and pharmaceutics, particularly in dermatology. More particularly it concerns all the applications aiming at reinforcing the dermal-epidermal junction or improving hair condition, by increasing the proportion of collagen VII in the presence of keratinocytes and/or fibroblasts. In particular, said applications involve toning up the skin, reducing wrinkles and improving hair condition.</p> |
