The light (12) is positioned on the upper side of the door threshold (11) , in a recess in the threshold, on the outward-pointing side of the threshold, and is detachably joined to it. The light has a counter-piece cooperating with a guide in the threshold, beneath the tread surface. The light is contained in a transparent plastic bar and is at least partly fluorescent.
