<p>The invetion concerns a cassette (1) for an electrophoresis system including an essentially plate shaped body, which comprises first wall means (7) for supporting a gel plate (2) and second wall means (8', 8'') for supporting buffer strips (3, 4), said wall means being connected to each other. Futher the second wall means (8', 8'') are displaceable with respect to the first wall means (7) between a first inactive position wherein the buffer strips (3, 4) are chemically and electrically separated from the gel plate (2) and a second, active position where they are in electrical and chemical contact therewith.</p> |
