<p>A lubricant composition comprising: (A) a compound of the general formula: R?1-COO-R2¿ (wherein R1 is a higher aliphatic hydrocarbon residue; and R2 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue which may contain fluorine or oxygen), and (B) a compound of general formula (2), wherein R3 is a higher aliphatic hydrocarbon residue; and R?4 and R5¿ are independently hydrogen or an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue which may contain fluorine or oxygen, and providing a lubricant layer in a magnetic recording medium excellent in stability in traveling, still life and weather resistance.</p> |
