<p>The present invention relates to a process for producing a porous nickel-containing material comprising the steps of forming an intermediate body containing nickel and at least one modifier and subsequent removal of the at least one modifier. According to the invention the removal of the at least one modifier is made by treating the intermediate body with a gaseous halogen, the at least one modifier being an element which form a gaseous compound with said halogen. The invention also relates to a porous nickel material produced by said process.</p> |
