The valve timing control device has a number of blades (70) at the camshaft or torque transmission. The blades divide the fluid torque transmission chambers (R0) into advance (R1) and retard (R2) chambers. Passages give the fluid flows to and from the advance and retard chambers. A return drilling (34) holds a locking pin (80) and a spring (81) supported at one end by a plate (82) which engages a groove (35) radially at the drilling (34). A drilling (22) is supplied through a fluid passage (23).
