Monitoring of water separation from compressed air

The effectiveness of a conventional water removal system is monitored by a dew formation sensor that represents a stray field capacitor which can detect the presence of droplets of 0.5-5 mu m, or alternately, 1-100 mu m. A temperature sensor is integrated in the condensing surface.
