摘要 The method for measuring the dia. of a particle is carried out, firstly producing an intensity pattern monochromatic polarized light from at least one angle spectrum of plane light waves. The measurement vol. is determined as at least one part of the region, in which the plane light waves intersect and form an intensity pattern. The light scattered by particles moving through the measurement vol. is detected by two detector units, aligned on the measurement vol. The frequency amplitude spectra of both detection signals are determined. With the determining of the phase difference (DELTA PHI) between both detection signals for those frequencies (f), which are located in a specified frequency range, and their amplitudes exceed a specified amplitude threshold value. The dia. of the particle is determined based on the course of the phase difference DELTA-PHI frequency f curve.
