Method of transmitting information to mobile part of cellular mobile radio system

The method is used to transmit information to a mobile part (POP) of a cellular mobile radio system with at least one base station (FIP) and at least one mobile part. The base station is in connection with an information network (NET). A specific item of information (INF) to be transmitted to the mobile part is emitted from at least one long wave transmitter (LWS). The radio coverage range of the long wave transmitter(s) detects the location of the mobile part. The mobile part has an additional long wave receiver (LWE). The information is preferably encoded into digital information blocks (BLO). The information may contain, as well as an identification (IDE) e.g. telephone number of the called mobile part, also an identification e.g. telephone number of the caller.
