The trailer is towed and powered via a conventional three point connection (2) and supported on two wheels (3). At the front of the trailer, a reciprocating blade (5) lifts a layer of soil, which is carried away by contra-rotating conveyor belts (6, 7). Bulbs (14) from a reservoir are laid in the trench, via an intermediate holder (10), shutter (11) and horizontal conveyor belt (12). The excavated soil (15) falls on top of the bulbs and is smoothed flat by a scraper blade (16). |
